RENOVA DO'S AND DON'TS FOR SUCCESS

Do start using moisturizer with sunscreen every day.
RENOVA works best when used as part of a comprehensive skin care regimen that includes gentle cleansers, moisturizers, and sunscreens. RENOVA may make your skin more sensitive to the sun. It is very important that you use a sunscreen every morning. Before you apply any makeup, put on a sunscreen or a moisturizer containing a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher. Even if it's cloudy or rainy, you still need to wear sunscreen- about 80% of the sun's damaging rays can penetrate through clouds. Chronic sun exposure is believed to be responsible for the majority of the visible signs of aging skin. It's a good idea to shield your skin from the damaging effects of the sun by wearing sunglasses, visors, hats, and other protective accessories and clothing.

Don't use medicated, abrasive, or alcohol-containing products on your face.
The following products should be avoided during treatment with RENOVA as they can cause irritation:

  • Facial scrubs
  • Toners/astringents containing alcohol
  • Waxing, depilatories, or bleach on facial hair

Do use products that are gentle to your skin.
Also, read the labels of the products you wish to use to ensure that they are appropriate to RENOVA skin therapy.
