 What to Expect
While everyone's skin is different, if you follow your doctor's instructions on how to use RENOVA, you'll most likely start seeing some results within one to two months. Be patient! It takes time to achieve the full benefits of using RENOVA.
Keep in mind, RENOVA should be used as part of a total skin care regimen that includes a gentle cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen with SPF (sun protection factor) of 15 or higher.
During the first two months, you may notice a smoother and softer texture to your skin. It's also possible you will not see any changes at this stage. You may also experience redness, itching, dryness or peeling. Hang in there! This effect is most often mild and most commonly occurs when RENOVA is first started. Very likely, as you continue to use RENOVA any signs of irritation should subside. If not, or if irritation is severe, contact your doctor. He or she may recommend other options, including using RENOVA less often.
In months three to four, your progress will build. Fine wrinkles should begin to diminish.
In months five to six, your patience will pay off. The major benefits of RENOVA should be apparent. Among your visible results: fine wrinkles may be diminished. Skin may be softer. In effect, your skin may have changed.
RENOVA is ongoing therapy. After you complete six months of therapy, you will want to continue to use RENOVA as a part of your total skin care regimen in order to maintain the benefits you have achieved. Your doctor will determine the length of therapy right for you. Remember, if the expiration date marked on your tube of RENOVA has passed, discard the tube and refill your prescription according to your doctor's instructions.
Get the dos and don'ts for success of RENOVA use.
